Recent job

Its not finished yet but we cleaned it up yesterday for a party they are having today so I took some progress shots. I don't have any before pictures on this computer but I'll post them later.

Looks like a totally different house (mainly because you can see it now haha)
Basically the driveway went up the left side the same way it does now but with less curve and shape and much much steeper, then there was a small parking area in front of the court yard, the right side was all woods. We excavated over 200 cubic yards of material to get the center island lawn area down and also to remove some of the steepness over the driveway.

we also filled in some of the right side to create the lower parking area.

There was also supposed to be two piers and a large apron at the street but due to budget concerns that was omitted for now as well as some of the inlays in the courtyard area.

you can see some of the cut for the driveway here

after

brooks will become famous soon enough
Very nice! I'm an east coast transplant- so love that east coast style of architecture and landscaping. For some reason we don't do that stone curbing here in the midwest much.

I'm really drooling over your truck though

Nice work. Are the pavers are laid on concrete?

looks good Zullo.
Is the drive staying crush and run or are you topping it with something?

So is that common on Long Island? I spoke with a guy from there who was doing a huge driveway in Saddle River NJ last year and he said he was doing the same thing.
