Now for reasons that most will understand we do not use paver bond on seat walls that we do in parks.

The above picture was taken at a park in a rough neighborhood, the exposed wall was first glued up with paver bond. as you can see it didn't hold up to the stresses that the "kids" put on it. This was one of the reasons we switched to epoxy for this environment. There are still problems with this type of install, mostly from damage done by others. The concrete can spall between the glue joint. We have switched to Pisa II units Vs Versa-lok as there are no holes in the Pisa II to allow moisture in and a better bond with the epoxy with out the holes in the block that accept the pins.

Looks good!

Looks like Pisa II, and doesn't look like it's the exact curve a Pisa II gives you, along the full length of the wall. Did you have a ton of cuts?

Hey - I didn't see these extra posts!! The comment was for the pics of the project for the LA. I really like the project for the LA's son.

That last pic looks like some poor parks and rec guy tried to reassemble a wrecked section of wall. Doesn't like quite as good as I'm sure it did when it was installed.

Jeff; on the ton of cuts, I don't really know, it's about 200 Fc ft of wall that took just over 60 hrs to complete. I just sent 2 men out there to install the wall for the LA he was out there doing the layout. the 60+ hours includes the pick up of material and the base install for the pavers.

Paul,

Why not use the Pisa 2 corners for the end of the wall? That way you would have a rock-faced end.

Peace,

Rex

Rex; They don't have rock faces on the off side.

Paul,

You cut the corner in two across the middle, the width of the block. Then adhere them together. It completes the look. Tony Rissi showed that at a Unilock seminar

Nice work.

Peace,

Rex
