Saw Burn!

A little self critique on myself!

And maybe something to add to some of your's "DON'T DO THIS" lists.

This is what I call a saw burn.........

I was the middle of july, about 95 degrees. Never had this one happen before........and didn't notice untill the following week.

Yup, this is what happens when you run your cutoff down a walkway with existing shrubs!

and also, if you really want to be a &)^#, you can yell at me for letting the mini-excavator exhaust burn the top of that globe spruce!

A day without learning is a day with out living.......at least that's what I told myself!

Yup - if there are times when we have to cut pavers one by one off to the side, even though we protect the immediate area, we sometimes cook a little patch of turf.

sometimes it's hard to remember everything....

ROTFLMAO thank you for pointing out something I never would have caught myself. This one is filed for future use.

Tim is an unknown quantity at this point
I would have never been aware of this either. A home owner has never brought this back to us before. I plan to have our crews look at this picture to make a point with them. Beautiful walk by the way! Tim

I think each and every one of us is guilty of this offence at one time or an other. We all should know better but we kind of forget The thing is we will all probably do it again

On my recent project of the week I offered to put some pipes up blocking my excavation over the weekend. Luckily it was only 2 1/2" below the drive, just waiting for the pavers. I showed up monday morning and my nice clean sawcut along the pavement was blurry. Upon further inspection, I could see tire marks in my base. I offered, they turned me down. Oh well.
