angry Cant find Anchor Intermediate Units

Hi
We have to repair a wall that was dammaged in a auto accident. The wall was installed in 1999. The orignal job was a total of 30 pallets of Anchor Keystone Intermediate units, curved face, tan color. We have called Anchor and we were basically told that that block is no longer made....TUFF LUCK.. I have to repair the wall not replace the hole job? We are looking for only 1or 2 pallets. Some one i am sure has them laying around in a supply yard, its just a matter of getting some one to look for them. As soon as I mention Anchor Intermediate units they usually respond really quick with the responce that they are no londer made good luck.

SO...... Is there any out there???? and we will pay the shipping or pick up and or does any one know of a simmilar block that will work??

Any Help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
Matt

How fast was the wall going?

Matt, is there any way to reconfigure part of the remaining wall and use what is there? For example, stepping the wall down or removing a course of block somewhere. You wouldn't have to worry about matching the block and the color. 30 pallets is a lot of stone to pick from.

Another idea is to redesign the area that was hit and come up with some other creative solutions.

Post some pics if you can.

That is a idea but the owner dosent want to pay and the ins. co only will pay for the repair? Thats the problum...... One section is 75 ft long, we were thinking of steeling a corse from there but nobody wants to step up and pay for the extra work.$$$$

well then its not really your problem, present them with two solutions:

1) reconfigure the existing block.

2) Re-do that section out of a different material or the whole wall.

without seeing any pictures is it possible to introduce large boulders there with some creative planting to tie it all in? We usually end off our block walls with moss rock to kind of blend it into the planting. Maybe you could do something like that. again with out seeing it its hard to offer anymore help than that.

Just as long as you don't step up and pay for the extra work.

My ear is starting to twitch and that usually means .... Be Careful on this one.
