I am a graduating senior Civil Engineering student at the University of South Alabama. I am currently working on our senior project which is a design of a LEED certified 'green building'. My design team is going to use interlocking concrete pavers for the parking of our building to meet LEED standards. Alos, we are looking into to using porous concrete for all sidewalks. I would like to request some technical specification on the interlocking concrete pavers. I need the following data:
- infiltration rates for the interlocking concrete pavers & porous concrete
- an approximate cost estimate per square foot (including installation) for each (pavers & porous concrete)
- any life cycle cost data that is available
- durability of the concrete pavers & porous concrete
- how do you handle oil/grease from parked vehicles clogging the porous pavers
- 'C' values (runoff coefficient) for interlocking concrete pavers and porous concrete
I would like to thank you in advance for any data you supply and also thank you for your time.
