questn

Have any of you guys

Either found a supplier that will sell a circle cut in dimensional bluestone around 6' in diameter

Or created a circle around 6' in diameter in dimensional bluestone?

I saw a supplier at a winter show that sold all the pieces needed precut. I suppose with enough time I could make some templates and cut the pieces myself. I'm thinking about four or five rings around a center circle. It sounds like a lot of work.

Thanks!

I don't know of a pre-made kit using natural stone but here is a supplier that will do custom cutting of radius pieces and some other rather cool elements.

There are lots of other stone suppliers in PA so maybe it exists.

I'd ask cutntrim how he acquired the limestone he used for a project that sounds exactly like this one. He posted a pic of the project in here somewhere.

We've done it both ways- we've created templates in AutoCAD and plotted them at 1:1, and either had the stoneyard cut them or had the crew cut them with a diamond blade. Just depends what your local supplier offers.
