I have an opportunity to be involved in presenting R and D thoughts for manufactured concrete pavers. I don't want to design them I just want to present some ideas for several things that my market could benefit from. Along with my own thoughts I wondered if any of you would have ideas you could use in your markets? Does anyone have any suggestions? Different finishes? Shapes? I will tell you my thoughts but I want to see if others are seeing the need for these things as well. These are not just limited to pavers. It can include retaining walls as well.

I think tumbled pavers are right on the cusp of starting to be seen as dated, and I haven't seen anything yet that to me looks like the next great thing. Unilock has a product that imitates clay and I like it, but I'd like to see more development in that area, as I see clay as a more classic, timeless look.

Also, with the emphasis on green lately, seeing more development in that area would also be of interest.
