Need suggestions for top of firepit wall, not natural stone.
Has to be heat resistant and blend with our tropical / Mediterranean them ( lots of stucco & tile ).

Wanted travetine but I think that will crack next to the heat.

I just noticed that Whitacre Greer makes a reddish fire brick. Might coordinate with the colors you have going (or not). Otherwise, I'm not sure what to suggest - not stone and heat resistant limits choices pretty severely.
