Stone Road

We maintain a number of homes on a small cul-de-sac. Their road is not paved but is 3/4 blue stone. They want to have it redone and asked if I was interested. I've never done this before. Can anyone tell me what would be involved? How far would it need to be excavated? What kind of base prep would be needed? Any other info would be appreciated as well.

What exactly is 3/4 bluestone? Is that 3/4" thick bluestone (can't be)? Is it 3/4" crushed bluestone? Is 3/4 of the pavement bluestone?

Now, are they wanting to have the bluestone pulled, the base re-done, then bluestone relaid?

Fill us in a bit more on all these details.

Crushed blue granite is often refered to as blue stone in the northeast, not to be confused with bluestone (but it often is).
