Hey guys...
I am bidding a job using turfstone for a valued customer, around 52,000 sq ft. I cannot justify spending $60,000 plus for a machine I might use once a year at best. Does anyone out there have one, and would you be willing to rent it ( with or without the operator) for this job?
Does anyone else have any ideas as far as installation techniques go on large scale work like this? Has anyone seen skid steer attachments the will install?

Unless you go the whole route: base install, compaction, screeding, and laying all by machine, your not going to save much on labor. I would sub it out to a specialty contractor.

With turf stone your base is different than with a standard paver. It's harder to grade and compact.
