Polymeric sand on clay paver

We recently installed supperbond poly sand over Belden belcrest Clay pavers- about 2000sq ft. We followed instructions to the letter and have used this product with good success on many other jobs. There now seems to be a cloudy dull finish or substance on the surface-- could this be from the poly sand? any body with experience in this or sugetions on cleanig up . Thanks Dave

Stonehenge is on a distinguished road
Refresh my memory on the Belcrest - are those sand molded or extruded brick?

Could what you're seeing be efflouresence? I haven't known poly sand to leave a film behind, either on clay or concrete pavers.

Sand molded. I also failed to mention that this was a commercial site and the brick went down 4 weeks before the rest of the trades were complete. These bricks were the only egress to and from this building while painting, tile work, finish concrete, and numerous others fineshed their work.Dave

Could it be that the substance was tracked in from soil that they were walking across? Essentially efflouresence from the dirt on their shoes? Or is it on the entire surface and not just the walked area...

Is it heavier in some areas and lighter in others?

Also I have worked on commercial sites where I would finish the entry and the masons hadn't finished the outside stonework on the building and they would end up leaving a fine layer of 'mason sputum' across everything I did, which in turn the weather, (either dew or rain) would turn to essentially a waxy coating of goo that I would have to go clean up because they didn't feel like cleaning up after themselves.
