I'm pretty sure Chicago is one of those off brand tool companies that you see. They are imported from China and are very inexpensive, often called throw away tools. You'll probably have a tough time getting parts for it.

I see there's one on eBay for sale at the same price. Looks like it's made to look like the Stihl, but is certainly not a private label brand, so it's likely the parts are not interchangeable. Just in looking at the pics of that saw, it looks like there is no way to adjust the tension on the belt.

Pelican is right; finding parts for that saw will probably be impossible. Once it stops working for any reason, you pretty much have yourself a paper weight. I'd put that money toward a decent Partner/Husqvarna, Stihl or multibranded Makita-type saw, and stay away from the imports. Chinese imports, that is.

That's kind of what I thought but there so many brands of stuff out there now it’s hard to tell if you’re getting a deal or a headache

I'm with the rest and would save the money and invest it in a good brand saw instead. I've had my stihl ts 400 for almost 4 yrs with few problems, but when the switch broke, I got it fixed in a day.

Also, where do you get things like air filters for those saws. You usually get what you pay for when it comes to tools such as this.
