Paver sealers

What is everyones thoughts on Acrylic paver sealers that present that wet glossy look? What is the preferred way to apply using a squegie, paint roller, or a sprayer? Thanx in advance

I agree the right circumstance is always the deciding factor. Also the roller is what I tend to use as well. Thank you for your feedback, it really is appreciated.

It's not something we regularly do because not too many customers around here want to spend more money, but we do offer it. I've seen plenty of jobs around town that could've used it.

I have just this year started using A product by Sure-Bond that seals the joints and the pavers. The look on the pavers is about the same as a paver sealer with the added benefit of sealing the joints to defeat the weeds and ants. It is faster and cheaper than poly sand and there is more room for error (polysand adhering to top of pavers and the employee who sprayed 1000 sq before it was compacted ). You just don't want to overspray or the pavers become slippery, but they claim you can throw silica sand if you are doing two coats to make the pavers really sparkle. It been working great except for the job I did that the owners didn't tell the cleaning crew not to spray down for 24 hours and they blasted all the joints with hot water.
