concrete pour

Ok here's the deal--
I'm subbing out the flat work, but he doesnt have enough time to base everything. For 6" pour how thick should the base be and should it be 411 or 57's clear? Geofabric or no?

6" of 57's and Geofab wouldn't hurt.
