I think also high end is when the customer doesn't cut out parts of the job to get the cost down.

I am doing brick fence pillars on this one job. And i will tell you this, these pillars is what will really tie the entire project together and match the front of the house to the backyard.

So many people have big projects done but they leave out stuff that would enhance it.

A 100k landscape without lighting is a complete waste. If you can't see your landscape half of the day why even install it?

High-end work to me is when I am dealing with a customer who:

1) Has at least a general idea of what he wants because he has thought things through (this tells me that he has a genuine interest in having the work done)

2) Doesn't have an unrealistic notion of what it is going to cost to accomplish what he wants

3) Has enough money to accomplish what he wants without having to substitute cheaper materials to reduce the original price, break up the job into small phases, strip down the original design, etc.

4) Values things like quality, creativity, reputation, and service over low price
