Extending poured wall with blocks

There is a reinforced concrete wall extending from the foundation of a home. It is five feet high above ground. The owner wants a curved, segmental retaining wall to extend from the end of this poured wall. If the owner is dead-set on a "battered" wall, how would you build so as to properly tie in to the poured wall? I'm talking aboout strength and aesthetics.
