Welcome to the site - Have you checked with all of your local hardscape suppliers? Poly sand is common enough now that any handlers of the bigger brands of pavers should have it.

Got your PM - Contact Techni-Seal, or any of the bigger paver brands in your neck of the woods: Unilock, EP Henry, Belgard - one of them is going to be able to connect you with poly sand.

its extremely hard to find around here, everyone stopped carrying it because no one wants to use it. I can see it being used more up north with freeze/thaw, but i dont think its necessary down in the south.

Pave tech has a polymer additive you can put in regular bagged sand I used it when polymers first came out and noone knew any better. Its a pain in the butt to mix but if you cant find anything locally it would be cheaper to ship. I think 5lbs did 50 lbs of sand. http://www.pavetech.com/paveChem/sand.shtml
