Flagstone Walkway / seating wall

Just thought I would post a picture of a recent job. We mainly do pavers, but this one called for natural stone. No four coners on this job as it makes me crazy.

The project in the pictures is not 100% complete as we still need to clean the stones, parge the sides, create beds, etc.

The base was 5 inch 57 stone, 4 inch fiber and wire reinforced slab (driveway mix) and the stone was P.A. 2 inch flag.

The seating wall was constructed out of carderock (locally quarried stone) to match the house.

Well hope you enjoy or tear it apart, just thought I would post. This is a great forum with lots of info!

Here is the after picture at about 85% complete. The maple was relocated and plantings to follow.

Very nice work. I like the way you paid attention to the edges on the curves. Excellent.

The lawn edge could be as good as your paving work. If the bed is part of it , I'd tweak it for better flow.
Thats one heck of a nice lookin job though!

Thanks.

The beds are not finished.

The walkway was cut with a stihl ts400 and a 14" wds blade.

The inside radius by the maple was actually cut with an electric dewalt circular saw and a diamond blade. Plastic edging was used to mark the curve.
