Paver sealer durability?

I'm thinking of going for the wet look on my paver driveway. It is Brussels Mahogany with a Limestone soldier course. Does anyone know if the sealer will hold up to the skid plate on a snow blower? As it stands now, the rough and tumble look of the pavers hide any scratches and nicks I get in the winter. I would think the sealer would look ugly if it were scratched up. Comments?

Stonehenge is on a distinguished road
The sealer will act as a buffer between paver and skid plate. How well it holds up, I'm not sure. Solvent-based sealer penetrate deeper and might give you a more consistent look as you scratch the surface of the sealer (and paver). Will it make scratches not show up as lighter than the rest of the paver? Can't say that I've ever seen it happen, but was also never trying to make it happen or paying attention to consequences like that.

Ok, I suppose I could find a yard with a sealed sample and try to scribe a line in it with blade or something similar.
