Hey - County Materials

Now that I know you're here checking the site, check this thread.

The reason I'm pointing it out is, we want to lay some pavers to test 3 different base prep methods, and I'm looking for some very inexpensive Hollandstone to conduct this test with. As I understand it, you may know of someone/somewhere I can get that. I'm looking for about 1 1/2 skids. Any color. Do you guys have any rejects or clearance stuff that could do the job?

And BTW, thanks for the info on the V-Lok block today.

Jeff,

We are a Belgard distributor. Holland stone for $1.05 SF. Freight would kill us! Sorry I was not closer.

Peace,

Rex

Stonehenge, man, had I known that thread would have taken me over an hour to get through......

We have some closeout Holland Heritage Red pavers for .20 each (.90 per sq. ft.) that you could use. I also have some Holland Iron River that the tabs were done wrong on, we could probably do something more with those if you know what I mean The only issue with those having the spacer tabs wrong is that you could only lay them in a running bond pattern and if I remember correctly from that thread you had me read, you are wanting to do it in a herringbone?

I am gonna go back and reply in the other thread now in regards to the screenings, sand base, etc.

Running bond will work out just fine - in the discussion with the other folks we thought that would provide the weakest interlock, and give us the best chance to test the base. So we'll take 'em with the spacer tabs done wrong.

If you have that quantity of Holland Iron River (1.5 skids, or 2 would be fine), tag them for me. We'll stop out to pick them up in a week or so.

Yeah, the ICPI thread is a long one - but a good one.

Stonehenge - ticket is done. I could only get the Heritage Red, so you can do whatever pattern you like and I priced them at .10 each since this is a "Industry Testing Project" or something like that.
