MacGyver tip of the day - Save your soda!!

Today I recalled something I fumbled on a few years ago...

You're just at the end of a paver project, and have fitted your urethane pad to the bottom of your compactor and are pulling it across the patio to the right spot...D'oh!! There was a little rock beneath the pad that has now scratched several pavers.

So long as it isn't too deep, the slightly acidic soda in your lunchbox can do the trick of removing that mark. Just pour on the marks and scrub for a few seconds with the wire brush you keep in your toolbox.

Leave to dry or rinse with water.
