Rylmndrivdiesel is an unknown quantity at this point
I am installing a paver porch and walk on a house and I decided to dig down the side of the existing porch pad to see thickness hoping for the worst (house was built in the seventies ) 6.5 inches down I hit unfinished slab that juts out laterally about 18 inches at first I thought this may be part of a foundation wall, so I dug down the side of this slab to see if it went down vertically and I found that it proceeds at a 45 degree angle back up under the porch. In the basement, their is no indication that the foundation wall extends under the porch. But from the outside the slab looks like it is poured right up to if not attached to the foundation wall. The city does not have the foundation plans on file anymore so I'm kinda lost. It is almost impossible to remove this slab because of the location it can't be cut without a wire saw mucho bucks and i think that a hydraulic breaker would possibly create to much vibration against that foundation wall And i don't want that insurance hassle. any suggestions
