Options for cutting off concrete pad

I have a customer who wants me to butt the new walkway to the builders slab they pour - say ahh 5x5 concrete pad. do you guys have an easy method to cut that away ? It will not look attractive going up against it with red pavers. Thanks all.

Hmmmmmmm

Only but a couple ways to get rid of concrete....

1 - Lots of brute strength swinging a sledge

2 - Jack hammer........can rent electric ones

5x5 is not all that big.....now pending thickness.......4 inches or less it would be rather easy enough with a sledge hammer.

Is the slab attached to the house foundation or is there an expansion joint?

If it is attached.......I would at the very least get a diamond blade on a circular saw and cut a line along the foundation.....then break up the slab and if needed chisel your way back the rest to the foundation.

That would be my approach

Stonehenge is on a distinguished road
I've found that our Stihl cutoff saw gets us closer in tight quarters than our Partner cutoff saws do.

Wouldnt you leave some of the concrete fro drainage if its attached to the footing? If so, leave around 4 inches and maybe cut a paver in half and glue on top? Or you can leave the 4 " of concrete and grind a bevel on he edge as to appear "finished" using a grinding cup...Chisels may take a while... Am I making any sense of this? You guys Know better than me about pavers...I just know what cuts them...
