A Full Service Company

After many years of installs, we branched into landscape maintenance, first residential and then commercial.

Then something happened, a property manager asked if we could replace this huge company at a huge shopping center ... we did and this lead to our current situation to have diversified our services over the years to include l/s Maint., parking lot sweeping, pressure washing sidewalks, and day porter services.

There is a huge demand for these shopping center services in CA ... people (store owners & their clients) strive to have a clean and inviting place to conduct retail business, we have found that all of these tasks can be accomplished within our existing crew. No need to bring in hired specialists ... we're already there, on site.

We get a steady check, it's year - 'round work. Even the hours are set well in advanced. This is recurring work so even setting budgets gets easier.

Anybody think they'd might want to dabble in this just give me a call.

It's different, I'm different!

Hey don't yell at me, I'm just getting my feet wet here myself!!!

How are things in Sac.?

Our comp rates are supposed to make a big drop here anyday now.

I'm sick of 22%.

Are you guys paying 22% compensation insurance on your workers?

I thought 8.5% was bad.

Hi John; what's involved with sweeping? You'd be shocked, on 60% of our jobs, the guys go through with those long handled paper tweezer dilly-bobs.

On a few other jobs the gardners use their back pack blowers on a daily basis 30 minutes per site.

The bigger 15 acre centers I use my 'big guns' sweeper truck, and also sub a few out to others in that locality.

My monthly take on sweeping is $14,000. My expenses are $9,000 and 90% of the work is done early 5-7 a.m.

Rick Carver used to do sweeping too at one time, and of course he never lost a nickel.

This is good steady work and beyond simple, i bet you could really do well in your area, and especially when they (PM) see how immaculate your operation is.

Hi Jason - toward the top right and bottom right of this thread you'll find the "New Thread" button - click that and start a topic yourself - tell us about the things you've tried, what's worked and what hasn't. Where you are and where you want to go (in service offerings, business volume, etc).

There are lots of smart, successful people here, so I'm sure the knowledge is there for you to take. Just gotta figure out which knowledge that is.

Jeff

YOU MIGHT SHOOT ME IF I SUGGESTED THAT YOU .....

Here it is 10 below zero and there is foot of snow on the ground. If there ever was a case in which homicide was justifed, it just might be if I suggested that you sit down for a couple of hours and enjoy the awesome waterfall and pond that I built this summer.
Now I have enough holes in me all ready so before you run for your gun, let me tell you how I sit around in nothing but my bvd's when it is 10 below zero and there is foot of snow on the ground and I am enjoying my waterfall and pond. So here is how it is that Crazy Larry the Landscaper isn't all that crazy and homicide on him isn't justified. I never said where I was sitting or where I intend to build you a waterfall. I build 3 types of waterfalls, outside in the ground waterfalls, on a deck waterfals and indoor waterfalls and ponds. If I build you an indoor waterfall and pond, you can enjoy the beautiful sights of falling and flowing water and the beautiful and relaxing sound of water falling, 24/7/365, sitting in a comfortable couch in heated and air conditioned and bug proof comfort, in total privacy in your bvd's with your favorite woman in her bvd's getting ready to do what consenting adults sometimes do. Indoor waterfalls and ponds have many advantages that only they have. Every type of waterfall has it's unique set of advantages and disadvantages. In order to get 100% of the benefits and life enrichment that waterfalls and ponds give, you must get into all 4 types of waterfalls. Say what, Larry are you telling me that there is yet another type of waterfall? Well yes I am it is called a natural waterfall. If you want to see work done by the absolute best watwerfall builders, then you must get out and see the waterfalls that God or Mother Nature have built.
I am waterfall larry I am a highly competent landscaper and waterfall specialist and I am presently looking for a job with a company that wants to build the best and most awesome waterfalls possible. Email me today if you know a company that is as into waterfalls as I am. paradisegardens333@yahoo.com or paradisegardens4u.com.
