New toy.............

Needed something to do a bit of work at the ranch so I bought this little thing.......... It's a 450H JD with 1300 hours on it just the right size for leveling a few hills out and making roads on the ranch.

Gotta have the toys!

Looks like the boss is laying out where she wants those roads.

Hey, haven't heard an update in awhile - how's the ranch coming along?

Things have been slowing down some. We are having problems with the heating and cooling system. We installed a geothermal heat pump and need to get 2200 ft of pipe in the ground. It has to be three feet deep but we are hitting solid stone there now at 2'. So what you see me doing in that picture is clearing a section big enough to install the 2200 feet of pipe in a new area.

The finish carpentry is moving along but the cabinets are are delayed so the kitchen is waiting on that and then the month and a half will be needed to get the granite counter tops.

Bathrooms are moving along at a slower pace than I had hoped for but thats because the Boss wanted to change stone colors mid stream.

Now if would ever stop raining here I might get my work done so I can be a onsite supervisor down there and not have to make bi weekly trips. But I think thats another thread. ........................
