trees is on a distinguished road
I wouldn't put a pond there.

A much better use of that space would be to plant some large-ish evergreens to buffer the view of the neighbor's house and kids' fort. If you're truly feeling like over-achieving, incorporate them into a mixed shrub border which would help to soften the corner & take away some of the fence's prominence (both would be good things).

Ponds, especially small ponds like the one you're contemplating work best when you can be intimate with them. They are a hands-on addition to the yard and need to be in a location where you can enjoy the subtleties and nuances of a natural system at work. Next to a patio & viewable from a primary indoor living space is an ideal location.

Plant something big and trouble-free in that corner, gain some privacy from the neighbors and if you're interested in water gardening, find someplace where you'll enjoy the pond more.

That's my 2 cents...
