NCSULandscaper is an unknown quantity at this point
first you need to remove the existing grass, then till and level your area, maybe bring in some topsoil to help level everything off, i like to use a starter fertilizer under the sod, ive had the best results when doing that, and then lots of water. Ive been paying $1.55 per sq yard of sod and depending on acess to the area charge $5-8 per yard to install
