Here is our policy. Shorts are permitted and provided through our uniform service. There are certain crews that we advise against the use of shorts, but that is at the individuals discretion. As far as shirts, it is mandatory that everyone, at all times, are to have shirts on. It is my opinion that crews working without shirts does not look professional, and in some circumstances could be offensive to the customer. If the guys were in a remote area with no possibility of the public interaction of any kind, and it was very hot, then we may make an exception. That being said, I have not come across a situation when we allowed it.
