We allow shorts that are appropriate for the job. On job sites where shorts are not appropriate or permitted, we tell the guys ahead of time so they know to dress accordingly. Regardless of jeans or shorts, the crew is required to wear proper footwear. Our summers are upwards of 100 degrees and we wear shorts also. We are also in an area where casual is king and everybody dresses in shorts or khakis, so shorts are not as frowned upon as they may be in other parts of the country.

Shirtless is NOT an option, ever! Not only does it look tacky, what does the homeowner think when he/she sees an employee shirtless?
