LerchBros is an unknown quantity at this point
I bought the Zip Level in June 07' I didnt tell anyone I was using it out in the field (estimates, grade shots). After a while they started to catch on b/c I was reporting back to the office with elevation changes faster than ever. Now I never see it b/c it is always with the estimator. He never lets it out of his sight. The cord can be a little bothersome but there is 100' of it. I cant say enough about this machine. It calibrates itself and has infinite reach. The best part about the unit is the 1 man operation and the ease of set-up. No leveling or stick reading. We will be purchasing (3) in the next couple weeks. Not only is it compact, but it eliminates the problems some crew members have with adding and subtracting fractions (if you know what i mean).

If you have any questions I would be glad to answer them.
