Just because I use the title President on my business cards does not mean that I think its about me.
Your right in the fact that we should be a piece in the wheel, however you are the piece that holds the wheel together and steers the way. I also will never shy away from my responsibility as a business owner or whatever you call me, to deal with very challenging issues. The fact that an owner would say that he is something other then he is to get out of a uncomfortable situation surprises me, it sounds like something my employees would say. The title is not for vanity, but more for identifying my position in the company. I give my employees all the credit for the success of our company. They will be the first to tell you its not about me, but more about our customers and them.
