I have done several paver patios and sidewalks but never a driveway. I have had the help of my local simsstone supplier for most all my questions. But the one i am asking of all the pros out here is this. My customer wants to have a concrete edge restraint poured 10" wide and 8-10" deep. The reason is, he uses a push type mechicanical edger and then takes a water hose and washes out the trench. Do you guys think that this is necessary to install the concrete edge 8-10" deep? The width is just for looks. And have you guys ever done this type of edge restraint? Pros/Cons? We are using Simstones Cumberland slatebend for the walk and Grande slatebend for the drive. Thanks in advance for responses.
