Don't forget about resale value here either. If you decide to sell in a few years, terex has a horrible resale value.
My other option is this. If you only use the machine part time, then why not consider a used machine and save even more money?
It seems like you want to buy new just for the fact of having new. for the price of the new terex, you can buy a nice used unit, and the the thing is, after 5 years, the used unit may end up being worth MORE than the new terex unit.
Just my thoughts. But either way, try the terex and see what it is like. I've driven one for a brief moment and I was not too thrilled. It felt like a giant farm tractor that they decided to put a bucket and backhoe on. It just didn't feel like a construction machine as much as a the others do. Very bulky and 'clunky' feeling.
