How much sinkage???

I am starting a 2300 sq ft ep henry blue stone job this week. 1800 sq ft is concrete over lay. I will be screeding the concrete sand right on top of the concrete.

I am installing bull nose copping around the pool with adhesive and having the blue stone go right up against it. I need to know how much higher i should plan on screeding the sand, so once i hit it with the mallet/ walk on it etc it is at the right height.

The height difference between the bullnose paver and the blue stone slab is 1/2 inch, so there will not be a whole lot of sand down. I know with pavers to add an extra 3/8s, but with pavers you run the plate over them.

What do you think? And yea, the concrete is 10 years old with no cracks and in great shape. I am hoping this job goes smoothly, and i imagine it will since it is pretty straight foward.
