Just curious what some of you are using as an initial hiring period for new employees?
Do you just outright hire them for good and wait for them to mess up X amount of times before firing or do you give newbies a "trial period"?
Am about to hire some greenhorns and to tell you the truth, I can usually tell in the first day if that person is gonna be worth anything. That being said, if they can make it through the first week then I'll probably let them stay. Just hate to promise someone a job without seeing what they can do.
