From what I was told, employees of such companies are pretty much under the gun to get 'x' amount of lawns done per day. So pretty much, the guy spraying could care less if it right or not, it is just another check mark he gets to put down on his route to complete his schedule.

From others, I've heard that by the end of the day, they use to just drive up to a house and knock on the door....if no one was there, they would just throw the flags in the yard saying it was fertilized and move on to the next one to make sure they finish their daily schedule.

Quantity, not quality rules these companies.
