I haven't seen much evidence of it in this part of the country, but then again, we are a little far south for that particular species. Maybe the ones we use are more resistant or that pest isn't common around here???
I'd ditto the AN search, or call your ag extension office for more info.
As always, prevention is worth a hundred pounds of cure. Keep the weeds away, mulch & fertilize on schedule and otherwise make sure it doesn't get stressed and the critters should stay away. Preaching to the choir here, I know, but it's worth repeating...
