I am learning how to create working drawings in my landscape design course. Though they are not always necessary to include, I would like to be able to do construction drawings (details of actual construction projects, cross-section and/or elevation drawn to scale, for a contractor to follow). Practical building knowledge is also needed to get the landscape contractor's license required to install anything in Oregon. Is there a good reference book that includes drawings, labels parts, includes terminology, etc. I have been searching the usual book sellers and finding second-hand 'diy' books, but would like to know what designers use--like a desk reference, if there is such a thing !
