Life is a "beach", unless you are digging on one.
Cape Cod is mostly sand (glacial wash). We do have areas with heavier soils in certain parts. In those areas you might even find a rock or two.
Be careful for what you wish for. It does mean that you have to do things differently to get plants to survive.
