well, one reason I wanted some more opinions is my partner seems to think that a superchip is a good idea to put in a 1999 F-350 dually (7.3) with 177,000 miles on it . Granted we have had no trouble with the truck, but this is asking for trouble. He thinks it is ok to tow a 15,000lb backhoe with this truck. Now it will handle it, but every day use will kill any of them chevy,dodge,ford or any 1-ton. add the weight of trailer 5000+lb to the 15,000 backhoe.
I am probably going to set this up without his blessing.
