to charge or not to charge????
what do some of u guys think.....
we are finishing up a landscape for a really nice family. the kind you would like to work for every day. no problems........... except today. project calls for a total 24 ton of red lava stone, which customer picked out. 2 of my 6 wheelers showed up and dumped in the empty lot next door. my guys started spreading soon after i get a call from the customer.......they don't like the way the stone looks, and i have to agree doesn't look that great. the project was proposed at 35k ended up at 39k after add-ons (fire pit in paver patio and what not) we are also contracted to landscape a new restaurant they're opening first of spring.so do i charge them for the pick up of stone and and the 1-2 plus ton of lava mixed with dirt from the empty lot, or not.i can certainly absorb the costs. not 1 hitch during construction until now.I'm afraid of the bad taste this charge may leave in their mouth. what do ya think should i charge em?b
