We have never had a problem with any Kohler we have run, and have had them last over 3600 hours.
Kawasaki on the other hand, we had several blow well into warrantee and they refuse to honor thier product.
I currently use a 17 hp Kaw for a boat ancho0r, and it works well in 500 ft seas. Go Honda or Kohler
